The only valve I can find is a screw on type valve and that valve is sorta hidden between the serpentine belt near the top of the engine. I know the screw on valve shows that it's an R-12 system. But everything I have searched shows that this car uses R-134 refrigerant. The only thing I can think of is that this is not the correct valve to charge the a/c.

I have been looking all over the internet trying to find the location of the valve to charge the A/C. Any help at all would really be appreciated.

Under the airfilter box....on the side of the car battery....
there are two aluminium hoses with charging tap on it....the below one is the one you use for charging a/c.

to get better access, i suggest removing the airfilter box.

Best Regards

Thank you very very much. I was told by someone else the valves were located next to the fire wall. The valves were exactly where you said they would be. thanks again.
