Cameron Wieldraayer / NightXCZ77 / nannyw2 is back (again)

I just won this eBay auction for a Skyline R32 GTR:

Turns out the seller is Cameron Wieldraayer. I refused to buy it since the car is illegal. Now he's threatening to sue me for breaking our "legally binding" ebay contract that according to him I "signed". :rolleyes:

I hope he does sue, because either
a) he'll make an ass of himself for trying to enforce a contract to buy an illegal car.
b) he'll when and set a president that the cars he sells are legal.

I'm confident he is capable of getting a VIN and title from the Arizona DOT (whether he would actually do it once he has my money is a whole other matter), but after reading post from Sean Morris and others these cars are definitely gray market/illegal since they are not going threw a Registered Importer. I like to drive my cars so I don't need the insurance company or government screwing me if it's involved in an accident. Stupid government.

Well I figured it was either legal and I'd be glad to pay the amount or it wasn't. $17500 barely covers the cost Moterex used to charge for conversion, how is that overpaying? It would be overpaying if it was just for the price of the car outside of the US.

I e-mailed the guy just for fun, he told me he has an R34 GT for sale.

leave people like that alone, you touch him your just asking for trouble. He will get what he deserves soon enough for tricking people and stealing. If he sues you he will probably be the one that will be in trouble so I agree go to court and fight if he does sue you which i really doubt he will.

No, he is not. Its only a legal contrat if every thing about the car in the auction is factual. Any miss leading information would void said contract.

But honestly guys... You don't know the entire story about what happened. Cam's a good guy, he just kind of got screwed over. My best friend was right there with Cameron when his business went under. He used to sell with Night. So I've pretty much witnessed the entire thing go down.

ok enough about that cam guy since it seems like the ebay trouble is over this thread should be about over too. Lets try to not talk bad about other people in a forum ^^ except for the creators of fast and furious movies. =P

ive heard many many many things about the night seven scam and some good and some bad. none of it was from AF though. i know they used to sell legit engines and other parts, but its when they decided to start scamming people with the skylines that got them in trouble.

Yea you got me there about trying to find a Skyline or just wait til the 25 year rule applies to them, or find a freind (or someone you know) with one and try to buy it form them...

My recommendation to you - Report the car to customs have them seize it and sell it as illegal (must be deported vehicle) If it is found that the car is Illegal the binding will be broken and he will get arrested especially with his prevous record (hyp-speaking it is nightX7)
