i've been asking lots of questions about porting and everything, got it all down now, understand it all and everything, i now have a 1981 12a 1st gen that i would like to bridgeport, im trying to find who does it, and who does it best, any suggestions?

What exactly are you looking for out of the car? Will you be running the stock gearbox? If so you may want to rethink the bridge and just go with a very agressive streetport.

basically i want a car i can drift/autocross for fun, not a daily driver, but still have it last a very long time without having to do rebuilds, the autocross part isn't very important i just want a car that can get sideways under its own power.

what kind of prices would you expect for what im asking?

It really depends.
How much of the existing engine i can salvage for the rebuild/new motor.
I almost always use new housings. This is a substantial cost but is well worth the end product. I will not build a motor half assed. I take no shortcuts because i dont want to hear wining later on :P

For a full BP 12A ( i have one in the shop right now) as that one sits im looking for around $3200-$3400 CDN. Almost every part on the motor is NEW. This motor will put out somewhere in the nabourhood of 240-250whp. I do not include a carb setup with the motor. If you want a good setup we can arange something. And if you want to spend less just let me know. I can buld one for chaper, but this one will take ALOT of abuse.

im very interested but not sure how high i am able to go, its sort of just a guess but i expect i could make that in the next few months, but dont let that hold you back if someone wants that engine cause i might still go with something cheaper, what are some of the cheaper options you have?
