BTW - SHITTY ASS RUN! 0-60 they clocked 3.75 mean while the car is capable of 2.7 easy. They state it has 550 whp and yet it's the comp which is well know to have around 100+ of what the o4 had aka 580 whp which means the S7 comp has around 680 whp!

haha. that was a shitty run. but i bet the saleen is a hell of alot to handle. especially the S7 C

wow a 2.7s 0-60?? i knew they were fast but i always thought they ran low 3's

Well it's a guestamation really. Logically though higher downforce etc.

Normal 04 N/a S7 has ran 3.1 0-60. Normal N/a S7's usually run around 575-580 whp and around 560-570 Tq (very well balanced)... They also weigh pretty light @ 2650 lbs. Now you figure this The competition is around 100 lbs lighter so 2550 or so. The Whp is said to be 100+ extra powerpacked ponies. So around 675-680 whp! My guess is most of the weight is killed through the tranny so triple clutch plate etc. I firmly believe the S7 comp can run 2.7- simply because of it's amazing tq to hp ratio of which no other supercar has ever seen. (not even the F1) A supercar that can run such high hp numbers & come close to 10 torque or so off is very impressive. My guess is the comp's torque is around 650+. The torque is what gives the S7 it's overwhelming accel strength. Thats why there's a V8 and not a 12 in the back... Weight an torque.

I really would go so far as to say the comp is even faster then it's younger brother the TT & even around the track. For pretty simple reasons...

A. It's 500 lbs lighter
B. There's always T lag
C. More downforce
D. Probably more tranny work
E. The TT can't get any grip lol....

Top speed for sure...

But around the track not a chance and same with accel & looks too...

1) i didnt know the S7 outhandled the CCR by that much...still wouldnt be enough to catch the Swede. But the Saleen definitely has a broader torque curve. If the CCR had as many ft/lbs as it did horses......wow.

2) Thats an opinion. I think the CCR is the hardest bitch on the planet.

This is a simple way of looking at it...

Why the comp is better then the CCR. There's levels of performance....

Mclaren F1 < Mclaren Lm < Mclaren GTR race car

Saleen S7 < Saleen S7 comp < Saleen S7 R

Koenigsegg CCR - no more...

The CCR is just a base street model it has no crossbreed with a race car for track use... You also have to realize why the CCR doesn't have the TQ ratio is because it's High reving High Hp machine meant for topspeed mostly. It's main objective is to acheive a speed higher then the F1's. Nothing else really mattered...

so they wereent even trying to produce a # of cars and bank like ferrari and lambo does? If they made it more well rounded i bet it could possibly outsell the saleen. but i dunno...saleen is still in the one hundreds.....while a reworked Koenigsegg qould probably be like $300,000+

Last time I heard saleens goal was around 400 regular N/a's. There's only one comp though.

How many races has the new Koenigsegg won? The S7R has won nearly 40 races around the world. One S7R recently got the GT1 pole at Mosport ahead of two factory Corvette C6-Rs and one factory Maserati MC12.

last year at Sebring

yeah i know at the track a raced out Saleen would dominate. But the Koenigsegg is nearly unrivaled around a test ring. thats what it was built for.
