!!!Need Help!!! $1500 to go fastMexSiR 09-10-2005, 11:00 PM Ok guys, I posted a thread about the Turbo Kit on ebay of that SSC Company and got mixed opinions kinda negative feedback. So I need Help. MISSION: Go as fast as possible Safely (Not fuc"ing the engine up) BUDGET: No more than 1500 US Dollars. Car: Stock 1999 Civic SI B16A2 Thanks for the help. MexSiR superbluecivicsi 09-10-2005, 11:10 PM be patient and piece it piece by piece. your turbo may sit in the garage for over a year, but, when all comes together, it will be worth it. CivicSpoon 09-10-2005, 11:15 PM :werd: Putting together your own kit is the way to go. You can pretty much guarentee that you'll spend less $ doing it that way than buying a complete kit. And you'll also be able to pick the exact parts you want and not have to deal with any subpar parts. Ace$nyper 09-10-2005, 11:30 PM no matter what i'd say start with a block swap b18 a/b/c block b20 even. go fast really doesn't tell us much at all even though you said safely do you want F/I N/A? where you want your power? is smog a issue? Gas milage? Can you take the down time of swapping blocks? MexSiR 09-10-2005, 11:38 PM Going fast with an NA engine is VERY expensive, and you cant really go that fast with a 1.6 liter. Smog or Gas milage is not an issue, I will be driving the car in Mexico and there are no inspection or rules "for a safe enviroment" whatsover. When I say faster I mean 50+ WHP.
