What should I offer to pay for the following car:

1992 Civic LX 4 door
159,000 miles
Automatic Transmission

Rust around both rear wheel wells
Car rear ended a truck, front of hood is bent inwards
A/C Does not work
CD Player does not work
Transmission is shaky
Hole in exhaust pipe resulting in lag when taking off
Needs new timing belt

Other than that, engine sounds solid. I was thinking $800?

If you buy it and need a tranny let me know........I got a good automatic from a 95......Removed for a 5 spd swap.

Uhhh... I'd pay about $250 tops. That car doesn't sound too solid to me man. I'd save up and get something a BIT better.

That's just my opinion though...

Yeah sounds like more of a parts car than something for daily driving. Who knows, there could even be some kind of frame damage.

I'd save up for something with less problems...especially if you are intendting on having someone else fix the problems...because there are a bunch of them. Tranny, AC, stereo, new exhaust, timing belt, rusted wheel wells, in a wreck...yikes...In the end, to get it right, you'll pay way more than you would of just saving and buying a straight car to begin with. :2cents:
