Fuel Filter Changechandr 09-09-2005, 03:00 PM Dear Ones, My 98 Camry is at 92,000 Kms. I saw couple of the posts that they are saying to change the fuel filter every year. I called Toyota dealership and they told that Toyota never recommend to change the fuel filter. Could you please let me know your ideas about the fuel filter change. Thank You, With Regards Chand Toysrme 09-09-2005, 04:04 PM Fuel filters on Import cars are not the same crap Domestics used in the 70s. To add, it is very rare for fuel to have debris in it. Import fuel filters have an indefinate liefspan. Normally 100-200,000m before they actually *need* to be changed. At 92,000km I say leave it another few years. If it makes you feel good to change it, go for it. It's a pain in the arse to change, I'll tell you that. Bung them up and you have alot more work ahead of you. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
