The ironic thing about you svt is that you probably wouldn't care about my comments and probably just retort back if I weren't a moderator. You think I take my stance because I am a moderator(meaning because I can...I have the power...however you may). As a matter of fact, my stance on every issue is given despite my being a moderator. My stance on everything has not changed ever since before my moderatorship. It was my remarks towards S2 and his immaturity(at least in how he presented himself) when he first joined that prompted admin to ask me to be a moderator. You get threatened when you are opposed by someone with a little bit of authority...and instead of presenting your case and being man, you just want them out of your way...at least this is how I see it. That is the only way I can see things...unless somebody explains it to me better. But then again, just like S2, you feel the mob behind you, so you really don't care. People that are biased are the one's you're supposed to stop from talking shit. I was a member before I was a moderator. I can be biased towards ANYBODY I please. I don't know where you're from, but last I heard, in America, and most of countries represented here in AF, freedom of speech and thought aren't crimes. The only time being biased is not acceptable, is when that bias is used in a decision. As far as I know, I have NEVER used my bias towards you or anybody else in deciding anything like deleting or removing posts, or banning anybody...except when they're out here to make pointless, thoughtless remarks that don't really do anything but inflame people (that Taco guy comes to mind). Polygon 08-05-2002, 10:29 PM It’s like you guys are saying that since he is a moderator he is no longer allowed to have an opinion. I must say that is bullshit. I am a head moderator at another site and I damn well have my own opinion and hold to it just like I do here. Just because you become a moderator does not mean that you can no longer have an opinion guys that would just be asinine. cybercrx00 08-05-2002, 11:30 PM hehehehe, carnutt always used to fight with be, when i posted a bit more often, but i agree with him on this, don't be gay, anyone should be able to say whatever they want if it is in relation to the topic at hand. 94svt5.0 08-06-2002, 03:36 PM Well being a moderator is a bit different then just a member. There ought to be a higher standerd and level of maturity in a moderator. From my limited time here carnutt has acted and behaved like the people he is supposed to moderate. Its my opinion, that ought not be. I think I have presented my case/ opinion in a previous post, just restating for clarity sake. Ah, with authority comes limits and fences, seperate from the masses. Well...(at the risk of sounding like the people I'm moderating)...if you are so enlightened, why don't you apply to be a mod and show us intellectually encumbered types how it's done. But then again, from the sound of your post above, you sound pretty disillusioned about what authority is all about. Have you ever been in a position of authority? Based on your statements, I say no, but if I'm wrong, I apologize in advance. Oh, and shift lead at McDonalds doesn't count...(inflammatory, but satisfying). DeViL 08-07-2002, 10:31 PM Oh, and shift lead at McDonalds doesn't count...(inflammatory, but satisfying). The moderators I can't stand are the ones that make a smartass comment like that, and then ban you from the forum for saying something nasty back. I've probably been banned from 3 or 4 forums and a couple chat rooms because of that(yeah the world loves me). Obviously you're not one of those mods carnut, I don't see anyone banned yet. Later. carrrnuttt 08-07-2002, 10:38 PM Originally posted by DeViL Obviously you're not one of those mods carnut, I don't see anyone banned yet. Later. I only give what I can take, man... Okay, so i will stoop down to your level again. First of all is this moderator thing just some power trip for you? Wake up! At your regular job at Mcdonalds you have more power then you do here. Even though you just mop floors. Ohh please let me be a moderator one day, oh please. So, I can strut around and pertend Im Barney Fife and patrol for any one who does not agree with me. By the way, explain for me from my previous post, what I said to give you the opinion that I have a problem with authority. Can you do that? I doubt it. Excuse me, I meant disillusioned. So, look at my post I was refering to and point out to me what makes me "disillusioned" Good job melt, you the man. Could you teach me how to read good like you? carrrnuttt 08-09-2002, 12:58 AM  Melt 08-09-2002, 10:33 AM Originally posted by carrrnuttt  Whats that supposed to mean? 94svt5.0 08-09-2002, 02:50 PM Originally posted by Melt Whats that supposed to mean? This thread is 6 deep, we gotta wait and see what S2's gotta say about this. carrrnuttt 08-09-2002, 07:11 PM Originally posted by Melt naa, if hes got nothing to say he shouldnt say nothing. This thread is 6 deep, we gotta wait and see what S2's gotta say about this. means that I'm done with the topic, the discussion, argument whatever you call it. I leave you to take whatever action you want to take. I gave you admin's addy, feel free to use it however you see fit. You can take my reticence and interpret it anyway you want, because I JUST DON'T CARE. What I DO care about is this forum, since I was asked by admin to care about it. I was trying to explain myself because you two instigators might make it that much harder to moderate around here in the future. Now, SVT seems to be understanding where I am going with my last post...Melt, let me ask you...what the FUCK do you want from me? This is why I do not post races too much anymore, I'd rather stay in the background and concentrate on keeping an eye on the posts and the post-ers. If you want me gone, talking to me doesn't help...contact admin. If you want an apology for something...hold your breath. If you want to make a point, why instigate? Do you really need my remarks to prod you on? You obviously made up your mind about me, why waste bandwidth? Make your point and move on. I understand it was you and somebody else who called me childish...I remember an old quote about a teapot and a kettle... S2CorollaR 08-10-2002, 09:06 PM Well I had to get a new screen name and start back fresh because the people at AF don't really know what they're doing and are YET to give me a new password... Which I've been waiting for for about 5 days now. carrrrnut... being biased is being biased regardless of whether you were a moderator before or not. I didn't get the pm someone sent me because of AF's lousy profile system. You don't get to pick your own password which is really lame. You're a moderator, and I am a moderator at a Corolla site... Even though I'm the proud owner of a Celica GTS now, I still follow the Corolla Community closely. When people start arguing I don't  at their comments or take sides because of "previous incidents". yeah we argued before and the administrators liked how you handled the situation as a regular user, but they way you are supposed to handle the situation as a MODERATOR is different. Yeah, maybe you don't post race stories but you still come in and throw low blows at people when shit hits the fan. Turn the fan off, carrrnut, don't throw more shit at it. And honestly, letting this dispute carry further, which has drifted very far from the original topic, is a mistake that you are making AS a moderator. Melt 08-10-2002, 11:10 PM So S2 lemme get this straight You have Celica GTS 2001 Integra GS-R Do you still have the corolla? Also carrrnuttt, I dont want anything, I dont care if you are a moderator or not because you DONT moderate, as far as I am concerned you are a regular member. If you dont care about what we think, leave, why post in this thread anymore? carrrnuttt 08-11-2002, 06:08 AM I will be replying to these particular comments I quoted with quotes of my own from my last post...apparently, reading, or maybe understanding, is not a strong suit to some people... Please do not give me that act that you are very polite in YOUR forum. All anybody has to do is look at the archives to see what kind of ass you presented youreslf to be when you first entered this forum. Does that mean your just an ass because you don't really care about this place? I thought you liked Hondas? Originally posted by Melt If you dont care about what we think, leave, why post in this thread anymore? Originally posted by carrrnuttt I was trying to explain myself because you two instigators might make it that much harder to moderate around here in the future. I know I am contradicting myself by even posting this, but you will just not let this die. I cannot win apparently. If I close this thread, it will be me abusing my power. But then again, if I do, I'm just moderating, aren't I? I choose to let you close yourself. If you can't, I will show that, in fact I AM a moderator, and close you PERMANENTLY. I will not let you act like you can say anything to anyone in here. Go to the off-topic forum. I don't go in there anymore, so you can lambast me all you want, and I couldn't care less. I choose to show all this here, instead of sending you a PM, because I have nothing to hide. I make my thoughts(and biases) known to everybody, so everybody will feel open to communicate with me. You Melt, to me just act like a less profane version of JuanPacoDelTaco, and instead of hating everybody, you seem to have latched on to me, when it wasn't even your argument to begin with, you just jumped on the wagon, so to speak. Goodnight. Melt 08-11-2002, 11:50 AM If you can't, I will show that, in fact I AM a moderator, and close you PERMANENTLY. Ok, Im gonna shut up now and let S2 fight his own battle, cause you kinda are right, I sort of did jump on the wagon. 94svt5.0 08-11-2002, 04:53 PM I dont know anything about any wagon, but I am going to call things Like I see them. Regardless of whose "battle" it is. Its just this thread reached the point were there was no new information being introduced. Just a rehash, repeat and rephraseing of what was already said. So, I say step aside there. ZC_CRX 08-13-2002, 12:58 PM the LS motor can produce that much horsepower... if you destroke it it'll be making as much as an Si. one of my cousins destroked one from a 1.8L to a 1.6 and he gave it a dyno test which came out to be 158HP. he can run low 13s with it plus other mods like, 50 shot NOS, headers, intake, and exhaust. meaning its still stock internally. Melt 08-13-2002, 01:33 PM LS/Vtec would be a pretty cool setup. Would someone lock this thread? Its old, horribly drifted from origional topic, and no longer even an issue carrrnuttt 08-13-2002, 06:30 PM Originally posted by Melt Would someone lock this thread?
