on my way home from work today my car quit on me. Drifted it in a parking lot. It would start up but as soon as I hit the gas it would die out. Walked home, came back about 20 minutes later. It started up fine went down the road and barely made it home and the same thing happened. Just went out to try it again and it wouldnt start at all. Checked the oil and there was a gas smell in my oil. I was thinking Oxygen sensor. Anyone else have any ideas. Thanx

You can check the coolant temp sensor. There are several threads in here on where it is & how to check.

Maybe an ingnition system problem (bad plugs and/or wires)?

Fuel injector stuck open?
