Hello All,

I just bought a 2000 Camry LE 2.2L 47K miles. The AC when on sometimes has a constant clicking noise coming from the compressor as if the clutch is stuck. The unit works, it cool the cabin. When the clicking begins I notice that the air coming in isn't cold. It idles a little rough when this happens. Has anyone experience a similar problem with the AC. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Well, it sounds like the compressor might be going out. The rough idle is because the compressor is putting on more of a load.
