Would You Do It Againcas4067 09-07-2005, 02:39 PM I Have A 96 Civic Ex With Many Mods (check Out The Sig) I Was Just Wondering For Those Who Have The Body Kits, Neons And All That Other Good Stuff. Would You Do It All Again.. I Did It All When I First Bought The Car And Tell You What 3 Years Down The Road, Looking Back On It, It Was Just A Waste Of Money. The Neons, Were Used Maeyby Twice And Both Time I Used Them I Found One Was Blown So I Replaced It. And I Had The Body Kit Fixed Twice Already(i Know I Should Have Gotten Urathane), Last Time Was 3 Months Ago Paid $600 To Fix The Front Bumper Wich Had Cracked And Hell 2 Weeks Later I Hit A Possum And Did Twice The Damage. Well What's You All's Imput If You Could Would You Do It All Again. Not Me.... QUICK_EG_B16A 09-07-2005, 06:44 PM well i'm certainly not doing neons but a full lip kit is definatly an improvement and a full body kit would be even nicer, I just couldn't find what I was looking for made out of something other than fiberglass. I'm more a fan of the sleeper look anyways. just simple C/F hood, spoon type spoiler, mirrors and the lip kit looks awsome and not so "ricey". honda_racing101 09-07-2005, 10:10 PM Plain and simple, neans are gay, as are most body kits. eckoman_pdx 09-09-2005, 09:55 PM I don't care for neons...but both them and body kits have a place. Especially if you are trying to build a car to show. Try showing @ HIN with a lip kit or just OEM bumpers. You'll go nowhere fast. Now neons on the street? If you don't show the car a lot I always felt they were a waste of $$ since you'll never use them and they have no point. But would I mess with my car again? In a heartbeat...did almost 100% myself, and I always will. Chances are I'll mess with every car I ever have. I'm an enthusiast, it's in my blood. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
