I have a complete replacement electric sideview mirror that I have to install in my 1996 Camry but I can'd figure out how to remove the small tringular trim piece located on the inside door panel just behind the mirror. It looks like it should just slide off but I've pulled in every direction and it won't budge.

Someone please help!

Pry it off with a taped screwdriver tip

I cranked on a very hard until I thought it was about to snap in half but I will give it another try. Does it pop straight out or does it slide upward or toward the rear if the car?

Thanks!

Just pull and one snap will come loose.

If you haven't removed it already, the cover pops out from the very top point. Then just slide it up.

It snaped right out with a little extra force. Thank for the help
