While driving lately, I've been noticing a howling noise. My immediate fear was that it may be a tranny issue (1992 2.9 with a 5 speed) The noise sounds sort of like a truck with aggressive tires on, and it dies down as I slow down to a stop. Just wondering if the wheel bearings are toast, or should I look for a more serious problem? Thanks
