Same happens when the igniter is replaced, the coil goes bad. gitter44 09-07-2005, 08:53 AM got it fix,it was the igniter unit Did you use an oem Igniter and coil? The reason I ak is because when I replaced my coil with an aftermarket one the igniter went bad 2 weeks later.3 weeks after that the coil went bad again...Went to honda and bought both the coil and igniter from them and two years later no problems yet. jtchevy355 09-07-2005, 04:42 PM hey well i thought it was the coil at first, and the honda dealer isn't open on sunday so i had to get the coil at schuck's,but i waited to get the igniter unit at the honda dealer and that was the problem, 5thGenAccord 09-07-2005, 09:42 PM you might want to check your spark plugs and see if there is any oil on it. maybe thats why your ignitor went out.
