Here's the story.....one day when I hit the cd button on the stereo, the CD Changer didn't do anything. The stereo sees there is a CD Changer, when testing it I unplugged the harness and right when I did that the stereo switched to FM, plugged it back in and hit the CD button, and it saw that the CD Changer was there. Checked to see if there was power going thru the wires, and there is none, absolutely no fuses are blown in the panel. If there is an in-line fuse, I don't have a clue of where it would be. I thought possibly that it had a blown in-line fuse, WHERE is the question.......Maybe I can jimmy rig power to the CD Changer, BUT what wire is what at the harness ??? PLEASE........PLEASE help. I don't have the cash to replace or have a HIGH priced tech charge me $300 for a 3 cent fuse. Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem with mine in my 98 zx2, I took it to the dealer and they had no clue, they told me to either deal with it or buy an aftermarket cd player, or tape and cd changer, that would be cheaper then finding someone to find out the problem.

your problem is most likely a bad ground. Ive seen it all to often. Take a look at your harnass as well sometimes the wires get pulled while working on something else and they get a pour connection in the process.
