Hey everybody,

I have a quick question for everyone. I have been working on removing the transmission on my 94 geo prism, which is the same as a toyota corolla. I have been having some problems removing the halfshafts from the transmission. Everything I have found has said that all you have to do is pry them out. Well I have been trying and haven't got them out. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks

After taking the end out of the hub, take a long pry bar and a hammer. Turn the axle so the flat side is down and put the pry bar on that and hit the end with a hammer. IT should come out after a couple hits. ALso put somehting under the tranny because its gonna spray tranny fluid.

When you say the flat side of the axle do you mean the flat notches on th axle near the transmission?
