i've heard the biggest tire sise usable on an un-raised passport/rodeo. but what about tire width? is 10 inches too wide?

That would probably depend on the wheels back spacing.

A 10 in. wide tire is only a 255. Several people, myself included, are running 265s without any problems.

I ran 265's without any issues, with the exception of I don't recommend it if the truck is used for towing or hauling. Takes away power, and puts truck under a lot of stress when carrying weight.

this is without a body lft or anything? no rubbing? how are they taking corners?

Standard stock truck on 16x6" wheels, all that's been upgraded on the suspension is new Tokico Trekmaster shocks - and I DO highly recommend good, somewhat stiff shocks if you're going to bigger tires. Factory shocks, which for most of us 97 & previous years probably blew out some thousand miles back, will wimp out on the bigger tires.

Didn't have any issues cornering, in fact the ONLY reason I took them off and stepped back to the 245/75's is because of the fact that I tow and it just became too much work on the tranny more then anything.
