Porsche 944 versus Nissan 300zxBoogalou 09-03-2005, 04:38 PM I like both these cars, they're basic style is 15-20 years old, and they both have a NA & Turbo version. So what do you think. 0-60 times or HP don't mean near as much to me as the fact that both these vehicles are more pure sports cars that are fun to drive. Any ideas on better handling, maintenance, reliablility, costs to own, and high-end power between these two? Thanks in advance. k3smostwanted 09-03-2005, 05:46 PM I like both these cars, they're basic style is 15-20 years old, and they both have a NA & Turbo version. Boogalou 09-05-2005, 08:52 PM Thanks for the comments. But I'm not thinking of just the 944 versus the Z31. How about the 951 and/or 968 versus the 90-96 300zx, both turbo & NA. k3smostwanted 09-06-2005, 08:55 AM Thanks for the comments. But I'm not thinking of just the 944 versus the Z31. How about the 951 and/or 968 versus the 90-96 300zx, both turbo & NA. well, you can say my opinion is biased....but the 90-96 Nissan 300ZXTT is top dog on that list. the only older porsche i like is the 944 so your on your own on that one. Jimster 09-06-2005, 09:22 AM I'd say from that list, the 968 CS would be the ultimate victor, good as the others were, the 968 was almost unmatchable as a good FR drive back when it was new. kfoote 09-06-2005, 11:25 AM With those criterion, the 300ZX TT is by far the best option. For maintainence, you're a lot better off with a 1995 or earlier, as some of the OBD2 compliance parts on the 96 are very hard to find. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
