I am wondering what transmissions I have to choose from that can handle the amount of stress that I will be putting on it. I have a 1998 s-10 Blazer, with forged pistons and rods as well as being rebuilt. I am going to be installing a vortec supercharger with 9 PSI boost and a zex 100 shot within the end of next week. So I need to know what trannys I can use. can I use a turbo 350 or 400 maybe a beefed up 4l60e/700r4
so please lend me your help please cause I defanitly need a new tranny cause the one i have on now has a 160000 miles on it and needs to be replaced anyways. thanks for the help

wow, excuse me, i did not mean to say 700r4, had the fire bird on the mind (has a bad 700r4 in it and only the v6 bell housings fit) the 4l60e is a great transmission and right now it aint broke dont fix it, when it breaks have yours rebuilt, do not buy from a yard, or reman. reman is just an oe replacement, get the police package put into the rebuild, spend the bills, and you wont regreat it
