I just bought a 94 Accord LX, 5-spd tranny.
I live in Colorado, where we get all four seasons.
I'd like to get some recommendation on the following:
Oil (Brand and what grade)
Oil Filter
Trans Fluid
Also, I'd like to buy a service manual. Which do you recommend? I'm willing to spend for a good one with details.
I'd like to buy a diagnostic tool to pull fualt codes and troubleshoot. Which do you recommend?
Anything else you can suggest to someone who just bought a used accord?
Thanks.

well, i can tell you a few of them...
Oil: i love valvoline... just always have
Oil Filter: open the box and if it's got cardboard in there, put it back on the shelf.
I've heard good things about a chilton's manual... but i don't know if they make it for your particular car, do some research

I can't answer the first three, but Hayne's should have a manual out for that generation. If they do not, Chilton's will work. Both of them are highly recomended and which you can get depends on the store.

On the manual, I would go to the Honda dealer and order the Honda service manual.
Oil filter -- I like K&N filters, just because of the nut welded onto the back -- easy removal.
