No more Boost for a while.slow_99integra 09-01-2005, 04:39 PM so tomorrow the jrsc is coming off and being sent back. absolutepro-formance in finksburg md believes the blower is bad, this would account for the lack of power and the boost spike. hopefully i will get a brand new one from Jackson and finally get this headache taken car of. Got used to the instant power. Gonna miss it. superbluecivicsi 09-02-2005, 02:28 AM hand spin the blower. if it spins smoothly without rattling, then, it is still good. why is it bad? boost spike due to the blower. unlikely. your pulleys decide boost levels. not like a turbo. maybe you are boosting at a set boost level and getting to that target boost level is the problem. when you finally get there, it looks like a boost spike. loss of power, could be due to anything. sensors, compression, ignition, air, fuel, etc. understanding how the jrsc is supposed to work and what makes it work is easy, with your "boost spike" issues, getting into the theory and specific science of how the jrsc operates try Jim (aka JRcivic) at http://www.hostboard.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=forum&f=110 if your looking for a true jrsc junkie, that is the man to call on. he is the mod of that forum. he may be a little busy as of now, because of hurricane katrina, but, if you can get to him, he will be very helpful. good luck. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
