The VW-esque horn on the Rodeo is so pitiful it's almost funny. I want to replace it with a meatier horn, but I'm concerned that the wires powering the horn are very small.

Has anybody replaced the wimp-o-horn on their Rodeo?

Thanks

Mike

yes, not me but others.

there is actually a second set of horn wires behind the grill.

You should have no worries about the wire size.

There's a second set of wires? Can you be more specific about the location? Driver's side? Passenger side?

Not that I can really afford to go out and shop for a new horn with gas at $3.19 per gallon but maybe after things settle down a bit.

well at least you'll be able to signal for help with your horn if you run out....

get a set of semi-truck style air horns. or maybe have fun with it and get the aaa-ooo-ga type horn.

i am glad you asked about this, as i was wanting to do the same. thanks
