Can anyone confirm the Corolla XRS's fuel economy? It seems really low for a four banger.

I can dig that you pay for that kind of horsepower, but sheesh, 24mpg in the city on a manual trans?

Is it worth it? It's either this or a 2005 Civic (I'm NOT digging the new instrument cluster on the 06, the tach in the middle and only digital speedo would be too much of a pain to get used to)
