yesterday the a/c was blowing hot then cold, hot then cold. there was a intermittent squeak (like a bird chirp, that is what i thought it was at first then i thought that bird is following me a really long way). today there is nothing but hot air the squeak is gone. the compressor sounds like it is kicking in but no cold air.
if the system was low on coolant, would there be a squeak sound from not being charged?
also is there any easy/cheap way to check the a/c system charge?
any help would be appriciated.
