I would have to say no, off hand I can't think of anything that would be a simple bolt-on affair. Someone correct me if Im wrong though, Im not an expert in transmissions or swaps in general. I suppose if you really wanted to, and had the money and time, you could have one custom built. Of course, you are looking at alot of time and money.

I think the true question here though, is do you really need a 6 speed for a B18, or any B series for that matter?

you can have a 6 speed if you want. your gonna spend about 10k though to modify the bellhousing to mate a richmond up to the hog and convert it to rwd. all in all not worth it if you ask me.. lol

You're at 4.5k at 70mph?

You could just modify your fifth gear.

70mph @ 4500?? yeah, in fourth gear..
i dont hit 4500 in 5th til like 85-90mph.

you could probably somehow fit the six speed from the k-series to a b-series motor...if you wanted to get a little creative. but i highly doubt it would be worth it. and it would take a lot of testing before i would take it out on the road.
and it would still be front wheel drive..closer gear ratios but still have that longer sixth gear..it would work...you might need some time, money...maybe a welder.. it would be unique at the least. but i dont know how much good it would do you.

Would it even be worth the time and money spent on the modification to fit in the one from the RSX?

Trust(Greddy) in japan made a 6-speed tranny for b series engine.
I saw it on a superstreet magazine.
I forgot which one.
All I remember is that in that magazine they had the Supra with the rear-end modified to angle up.

I was estimating.. I'll actually check tomorrow.

Still though.. at highway speeds, its a pain in the ass. Thank god I have a system to drown it out.

K series wont bolt upto a B series -- You could custom tranny, but like Rick said get ready to shell otu $10,000... and why bother?

If you want to spend $10,000 more to get a 6th gear... sell your car and buy one that come with 6 :D The Tiburon has a 6 speed manual, and its under $25k fully loaded with leather and a V6 -- sure its not a Honda but hey its got 6 gears.... or you could just buy that Fast & The Furious Eclipse... its got 8 forward gears :finger:

I checked this morning 4000 doing 70mph.

And this isn't Gran Turismo where you can just change the gears. Best idea would be to get a smaller ratio final drive like 4.0 or something.. which still costs more than its worth.
