Pikachoo 05-13-2002, 12:32 PM If it is photoshopped I think the guy did a pretty good job. I can't really see any flaws. chris hatch 05-13-2002, 09:19 PM if that is photoshop that guy got really bored ivymike1031 05-13-2002, 11:07 PM if it isn't photoshopped, it seems unlikely that the cooling system could sustain continuous operation... Self 05-13-2002, 11:36 PM Originally posted by hondatool ok..all together..can we say PHOTOSHOPPED????..HAHA..ive seen that one before.. Are you sure?? I actually believe that is real... Pikachoo 05-14-2002, 01:54 AM hahaha, with that kind of car you don't really need continuous operation. Just a quarter mile at a time :) FBP Si 2000 05-14-2002, 05:52 AM That picture does look photoshopped...but I remember seeing that car somewhere...can't remember. SFF900 06-07-2002, 03:20 AM It looks real to me, look at the reflection of the engine on the hood.....that would be really hard to photoshop. boingo82 06-07-2002, 03:27 AM Look at the blur near the front of the hood. Fake. -=BOOMER=- 06-07-2002, 03:29 AM Originally posted by turboedsol that is huge any idea what the 1/4 mile times are? ryan His 1/4 mile times are 100x faster then his times to turn a 180. Psch91 07-02-2002, 07:52 AM Def Fake. The guys over at team integra had the same engine, only on an Integra. And later revealed it was a fake. phabejtsab 07-03-2002, 12:28 PM Looks fake to me. - As Boing82 said look at the front, more specifically look to the right of the left headlight, blurred. - The rest of the car is pixelelated, but the reflextion of the engine... very clean, not very hard to do that with photoshop, sff900, cut, transparency, flip, tilt, and maybe redish tint. - CRX = Front Wheel Drive, so no idea why the slicks are on the back tire. So I think it's fake. 97teg 07-03-2002, 02:13 PM you guys wanna see a REAL badass crx? C:\Documents and Settings\Student\Desktop\nopi-crx4.jpg C:\Documents and Settings\Student\Desktop\crnsx-new1.jpg it has an nsx motor in it, it runs 11.6 s. 00accord44 07-03-2002, 02:41 PM Pics didnt come up. try again.:( Pikachoo 07-03-2002, 04:08 PM CRX = Front Wheel Drive, so no idea why the slicks are on the back tire. The only way to make a motor like that fit into that car would be to convert it to rear wheel drive. Plus any real dragster will be rear wheel drive. So that doesn't prove it fake. But you have a point with the other stuff. colechaney 07-04-2002, 12:43 AM That yellow blur is tellin me its photoshoped hard. The reflection in the hood is pretty good if it is photoshoped. There is a slight reflection in the winshield of the engine, but that looks a lil fake. Speaking of which, I have never seen glass on a dragster before, wouldn't that be kind of dangerous? Also notice the spots of light on the ground under the car, it does't seem that light would be able to pass through the small gap, and come out in that shape. I don't watch drag racing much, but are you supposed to have treaded tires on the front? And how would gain access to to other workings of the engine. You would think that they wouldn't have kept the stock hood! And where are the rollcage tubes and other saftey equipment? Point out any errors that I have made because there has to be a couple. Based on the information that I believe is true I think that is fake. 97teg 07-04-2002, 07:05 PM here are the pics of the crx again. http://www.mahdavimotorsports.com/images/crx/images/nopi-crx4.jpg http://www.mahdavimotorsports.com/images/crx/images/crnsx-new1.jpg i dont know whats up front under the hood anymore, i cant tell from the pic and i never looked under the hood when i saw it at the garage when it was being built. boosted331 07-08-2002, 12:38 AM Wow, a stripped down drag car with no interior that runs mid 11's, impressive. VieTxRiceRocket 07-08-2002, 02:25 PM Actually, there IS a CRX with a Chevy small block, converted to RWD. Just not the one in that pic. Nemesis_83 07-24-2002, 11:31 PM ok, lookl at the reflection on the door, now normally if the car was on an angle the reflection would still be straight, but it isnt its on an angle with the car, meaning the car was standing perfectly flat when the picture was taken. Plus a crx wouldnt be able to take that kind of weight in the front, no not possible ever. 00accord44 07-26-2002, 04:14 PM Originally posted by boosted331 Wow, a stripped down drag car with no interior that runs mid 11's, impressive. Wow. that was mean !:( Who pissed in your Kool Aid? That statement does make sense though. As evil as it may be. That time isnt incredibly fast for the amount of work that seems to have gone into that CRX. Hell, my Accord does the 1/4 in 12.3 minutes:( 5_LiTeR_EaTeR 07-29-2002, 10:29 PM actually sorry to say that is a real car. Its just one Sh!tty ass picture. About a year ago when I first bought my car I was looking for ideas for what to do to my CRX. I went to some website that had a whole bunch of CRX's in it then I stumbled across that... needless to say that was an end to my idea stealing... But I've seem about 10 pictures of the same car i will try to find the website if it is still up.... Polygon 07-29-2002, 11:04 PM Do, because that picture is Photoshopped, no question. 95civicman 07-30-2002, 08:29 PM acually 5 liter eater is right i saw that page too and it has like back shots sides, 3/4's everything. 5_LiTeR_EaTeR 07-30-2002, 09:21 PM Thank you Civicman. I dunno if thats the same one because I remember the one I seen having wider slicks that stick wayyyy the hell out! Chronomancer 08-01-2002, 05:38 AM :bloated: 95civicman 08-02-2002, 12:07 AM www.quickhonda.net click gallery, then click miscellaneous, then look through the pics. they have two different cars, and one is the one we're talkin about cept it's a back shot. can somebody upload the pics cause i don't know how too Rein 08-02-2002, 03:17 AM 95civicman 08-02-2002, 11:11 AM yea and there is one black one too with a v-8 in it. i think that's the one 5 liter is talkin about because it's got some big ass slicks on it too. tynebeach 08-03-2002, 01:38 PM I have to say that second picture that shows the back of the car seems alot more convincing that it's a real car:cool: Whitey001 08-23-2002, 06:09 AM There is a guy in my town with a 350 ford hella modds in a civ hatch. They had to cut the fire wall and move it back a foot and a half.:greenchai :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
