ok, well i know these lights were used in that gay ass yellow supra with ferrari badges but they're actually pretty good. and i personally think it looks good. i only paid $50CAD for them so it wasn't much of a dent to the bank account either. all the wiring was done by yours truly.. all i need to do now is make a cover so that you don't see the sides of the assemblies, sink them in a little more and take more pics. here's the first. i'll take more when i get a chance.


and in case some of you didnt' know, i put in new suspension too.. so i'll get pics of everything asap.

can't you just modify the black housing that's already on the stock headlights? cut/add a few pieces and then put some bondo/paint so finish it.

It might come out sloppy but it's not like you can see it that clearly anyway.

yeah i think that would be a possibility but it might be more work than what i plan to do.. i'm gonna have a black cover bent so that the lights are coming out of it. you won't see anything on the sides or behind the lights. its a work in progress and i don't know how long it will take since i started school on monday

They are Falken ZIEX 512s taht are 195/65/15 seeing that thats the only size they ahd them in when I got them too.

the door and rocker panel are pretty bad.. i don't like taking pictures of that side, thats why you don't see it much..
as for the lights, they're not exactly what i wanted right now, i still have to sink them in so they don't protrude so much.. and if you think its ricy then alright, thats what you think i'm not gonna argue. my reasoning was that these lights are actually functional and i can now see when i'm driving at night. don't you have an s13?? and isn't it absolutely horrible driving at night?? or do you just strictly drive in the city? i'm where there aren't many street lights and lots of deer and shit so they help a lot. it WOULD be rice if a) they didn't light things up in front of me as much as they do or b) they were *superwhite*dorift0-ricelights. they're regular bulbs with a larger field of range.

they're actually 215-60-15.. bigger sidewall than yours (which i didn't want but i got a sweet deal on them), but you got the type of tire right. ziex 512s and they're awesome

Would 215/55/16 give the same sidewall as 205/60/16?

yea i understand the lighting at night. I dont drive with them lazy at night(unless its a short drive...cuz im lazy pfff). The blinkers give off morel light lol. Doesnt look bad i guess. Not my style, but i really dont have a preference for what headlights someone has lol. Well aslong as its not some stupid insane headlight conversion.

Like check out my supra headlights on my eclipse pimp tyte yo!!!!!!! Then i call up alquada and give them their next target lol. Alright bad joke, but the car would be empty. No deaths fellas, dont take me serious on that one.

My headlights work really good, maybe the guy before me put brighter bulbs, but they work really well.

yeah but you're not in the burbs. if you ever come around here, you'll know what i mean. not man street lights combined with lots of deer can be a pretty brutal scenereo

I drive alot where there are no street lights, my friends all live in the suburbs, and I've been a on a few highways with no street lights and they still work great. But I dunno maybe that's just my car.

i think lowering can affect your headlight effectiveness too, if you dont adjust them (probably just a little though)

and LOL shit i swear that was the only picture i'd seen. i was convinced it was like teal or whatever. it looks better in the pictures where i can clearly see the blue. opinion went from a 7/10 to 8/10

actually i'm not surprised you said teal cause at some angles, it DOES look that way.. its not one of those gay ass powder coat shit jobs, its just got some purple, brown and blue flake. it looks good up close but not all over. i'm gonna need to repaint the whole thing cause of the driver's door and rocker panel. not to mention where that monstrosity of a spoiler used to be on the trunk.. and as you can see from the pics above, the headlight covers that normally pop up have chips in them like crazy.. also the front bumper is starting to fade and i have scratches on the rear bumper from an unknown source.. its a bitch but i'd rather get the body work done so it doesn't rust to hell..

the whole passenger's side is great though, no rust anywhere.. thats why a lot of the shots are from that side.. paint is smooth and shiny

Yeah... Driving at night does suck I have the JDM pattern too so it sucks even more

Say what you want about those "HID" Conversion kits those things are bright. and Honestly I see less rice in them than sawing apart your popups. (not trying to rag on you to hard - just my opinion)

so by jdm pattern you mean the left side is angled up as opposed to our right side is normally angled up to see signs on the right hand side?
