it's a repost and it's stupid, it's completely biased and faked, bikes are way faster than cars in everything but braking. the power to weight ratios are just far superior to cars. there's a fifth gear video that's a little more accurate but still off. you can tell the viceo's gonna be biased when at the begining the guy sais all bikers are gay.

I feel bikes don't take corners as fast. four wheels taking the corner against two wheels. Grip wise, the bike would definitely lose out. But on the straight, all that power onto just one wheel...it's faster. Bikes lose on braking as well.

of course there are sports cars that are faster than them but compare the proce, a liter or 1200cc bike for 15-20k (canadian and new) versus a 120,000 sports car, also bikes are faster in the straights and i believe faster in the corners. there's a vid on here of a supercharged viper with a full exhaust system, no cats and some other stuff that gets rocked by some hyabusas with few modifications, hayabusas are only like 20% of the price of a stock viper and this guy spent propbably around 10 grand on mods so $ for $ bikes are way better and a good bike driver can beat a desent car driver.

oh, and cars are better on the brakes because they have 4 wheels but i think with the leaning and all that in the bike they are a pretty close match for the corners.

But can the bike lean as far as the car's parallel tires on the ground?
