Apex-i Mulicheckerty423 07-26-2001, 01:51 AM anyone now where I can find out about the harness on the P11 ECU???? I just bought an Apex-i Multichecker and just want to make sure I don't screw up...anyone now where I can get it?? or if anyone knows anything or have installed one...Thanks Tony G-Forces 07-26-2001, 09:51 AM You need a factory service manual. It has all the ecu wires explained. What do you need I can look it up for you. I installed my Apex'i rev/speed meter. No problems. redvalkrie 07-26-2001, 12:45 PM Whats all this about can you explain a little about this application. What does it involve, what add ons, what gains???? Thanks for the hel G-forces:bloated: G-Forces 07-26-2001, 03:39 PM The multicheck that Tony want's to install can be used for tuning purposes. It will read out injector duty cycle, MAF voltage, rpm among other things. The rev/speed meter I have it purely a toy that looks cool. :) Meter's revs speed some timing functions, 0-100/200/400m, 0-100/200/300km, peak hold functions and a trip odometer. Speed and rev trigger outputs. There may be others but I forgot them. redvalkrie 07-26-2001, 06:13 PM Is there an apexi gizmo that will let u set your rev limiter a little higher or even change your fuel/air mix with out having to open thing's up!:bloated: G-Forces 07-26-2001, 06:39 PM That would be the apex'i AFC (Air Fuel Controler) redvalkrie 07-26-2001, 06:43 PM :sun: Than-x budy! ty423 07-27-2001, 01:40 AM G-Force do you have a service manual for a P11? or maybe even P10??? If you do help me out please... i want to know the exact wires that the multichecker taps into on the ECU...The picture I included is from the Apex manual and it says the P11 is N2 harness but I need to make sure it is before I start splicing wires....thanks for your help guys... http://240sx.org/faq/articles/apex.htm G22DET 07-27-2001, 03:27 AM DONT use the S13/14 ecu settings to use it on your P10/P11...it's different. As jason mentioned, check with the service manual for that, it's fairly ez to obtain, just go to the dealer and ask for a copy, that's what i did to hook up my turbo timer, EGT, boost, oil temp, oil pressure and my AFC...now i just need to put the turbo in :) redvalkrie 07-27-2001, 11:46 AM :o Hey Luke you think you can give us a good pic of your engine, I would liketo see how some of your stuff is done under the hood, I know you said you like a classy clean ride, so I was wondering what your engine bay looks like.:licker: ty423 07-28-2001, 10:21 PM G-Force can you help me out??? I need to know the pin numbers of the Injector #1 and #1 Ignition signal and crank 1 degree and crank 120/180 degree and MAF and speed signal if you can help thanks...I am getting super frustrated with this...thanks if you can help me out... G-Forces 07-28-2001, 11:20 PM Ok this is for the 99 ECU only. I can't be 100% if this will work for any other year. The pic is a scan from the 99 FSM. Anyway. Injector #1: Pin 102; color R/B (red/black) Ingnition #1 (try): Pin 3 (tach); Color L/OR (blue/orange) MAF: 47; color OR (orange) Speed: 26; color Y/G (yellow/green) The crank position sensors are a little trickier. I'll give you the pin outs but it looks like they all key off the same 0-1 degree area. Cam Position (reference) 40 and 44; color both L (blue) (2000rpm is a 5v signal every 10ms (spike signal)) Cam Position (position sig) 41; color B/W (black/white) (2000rpm is ~5v signal at 0.2ms the signal looks like a square wave that goes to ~0v at 0.1ms) Cam Position (ODB); color W (white)(wave signal around 0v +/-5v it's a little hard to tell the frequency. Looks like 0.7ms frequency at idle. 2000rpm is to hard to tell.) That's about the best I can do bro. ty423 07-29-2001, 04:07 PM G-Force you are the man!!!! thank you for your help...I didn't expect anyone to help me this far...damn!!! thank god I have friends like you...anyways all the pins you told me are the same I have spliced already....but I'm not getting speed and ignition...thanks for your help again...thanks G-Forces 07-29-2001, 04:30 PM Originally posted by ty423 G-Force you are the man!!!! :D Yeah I know!! :D :D G22DET 07-29-2001, 08:09 PM Hey Luke you think you can give us a good pic of your engine, I would liketo see how some of your stuff is done under the hood, I know you said you like a classy clean ride, so I was wondering what your engine bay looks like. right now it's nothing much to look at...only a JWT POP, Stillen strut bar, Greddy oil-catch can (for my coolant reservoir)...pretty much looks like everyone's motor...BUT after a couple of weeks, when the motor goes in...hehehe, there will be lots of goodies there...SARD fuel regulator, another Greddy catch-can, bronze (color of the TE37s) valve cover, possibily an aluminum ARC radiator, Blitz intake, Blitaz Dual Drive BOV, HKS intercooler..as you can see, i got lots of stuff piled up in my garage wiating to put in hehe...but the engine will for sure look clean...cant wait!!! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
