I have a 2004 Malibu Classic with a 2.2L 4cyl. How do I remove the radiator fan assembly? Most of the Malibu's have the larger 6 cylinder engines.
I see the top of the fan assembly has a bracket that just snaps into place, but I don,t see how the bottom is released. Also after discunnecting the fan electrical wires, A/C hose clamp from the radiator shroud and removeing the air intake hose, how do you pull the assebmly out of the car?

UPDATE: I did figure it out: had to remove battery & holder to get the room I needed; also removed the plastic access cover (has two wing nuts) under the car which helped in re-installation of the fans.
