odometer isn't recording mileagejunior54 08-26-2005, 04:25 PM I just bought a 1997 F - 150. I just noticed that the odometer is not recording the mileage. I know there could be a number of reasons but I don't know where to start, could someone please help. Thanks conan7 08-28-2005, 12:18 PM I wonder how many actual miles are on the truck then? You could have been ripped off. The truck may have a crazy amount of miles on it with you thinking there were less. BTW - for resale it might not be a bad idea not to fix that problem. junior54 08-28-2005, 07:24 PM I wonder how many actual miles are on the truck then? You could have been ripped off. I did a history check on the vehicle and got numbers from last service and on trade. There is no problem with the mileage, I just don't know where to start on a fix. nemo566 08-31-2005, 11:17 PM Replaced The Instrument Cluster fcrew 09-14-2005, 07:47 AM First check to see if the speed senser is connected on the trans. The milage should read out as digital, do you have numbers or dashes in that space? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
