turbo on an H22 swap?

Right now I'm at about 145HP at the flywheel. I want to reach to about 265-280HP at the wheels:D . I don't need it any higher. I think I'll need about 12-15 lbs of boost for that. I'm trying to minimize my costs. I can either turbo the F22 or swap in a H22 and turbo it. I know I'll be able to get the 280HP easy and even more (which I don't need) with a H22 but it seems like it'll cost a lot more money. The turbo would be a custom setup on both. I know that I'll have to do something to the F22 block so that it will be able to withstand 13, 14, 15 lbs. when I put it that high (on occassion). Some people say pistons and rods. Others say sleeves and blockguard, no pistons and rods. Some people say I won't be able to do it on a F22B1. I'm confused now:confused:.

So my question is which setup will cost less and what will I have to do to the F22 to withstand the boost. Thanks guys.

And what about ARP bolts and head studs, magnafluxing, shot-peening, and all these other processes

Well I think keeping the F22 will def be cheaper considering an OBD2 H22A is at least 2800 + 1200 for install. So right there you're saving $4K if you stay w/the F22. Neither engine is good for turbo unless you get some good engine management which will of course cost a lot too. I'm in the process of dropping an H22 and a turbo in my accord right now. I just need to wait two more months til Quaife makes more LSD's for me :(

If you go w/the H22 you can run 10PSI on your stock stuff but of course it's still a good idea to upgrade the internals. I'm building the whole engine but I'll be running at 10 daily probably making over 300HP :)
