Are there any common problems with the 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24's w/automatic? My friend is selling a 2000 Z24, it has 96,000 kms on it and he only wants $2500 Canadian!!! That's unheard of. There is nothing wrong with the car, just needs breaks and a tune up. He is practically giving it away...are there any trends or typical problems I should be worried about???

I recently Bought a 01 Z24 with 80k from 4k and nothing is wrong with it. I had the engine and transmission look at thoughly before i got it too. the only thing it needed was a new battery. Although it was priced 6500 i think the dealer wanted to get the car off the lot to get another on there. But with any used car... there is always some problems

get it before its too late...
