how to change idle speed

I have a 94 Camry 4 cyl with 180K. It idles smooth in park/neutral and runs like a dream on the highway but suffers from the "normal" vibration in drive while stopped at traffic lights. I'd like to increase the idle speed alittle to reduce the vibration and am wondering how to do it.

Matt

First, that's a horrible idea. You're doing nothing more than covering up a problem.
Second, it's impossible. The idle is controlled by the computer using the ISC/IAC (Idle Speed Control/Idle Air Control).
You can turn the screw to open the throttle plate some, you can pop the plug off the Air-Flow meter's idle bypass to adjust the A/F ratio at idle.
It doesn't matter, the ECU is going to run whatever idle speed it wants to run regardless of what you do.
Even if it were actually possible (which again, it is not) you're only covering another problem.
Troubleshoot your problem first. In order:
Check the Dogbone engine mount
Check the front engine mount
Check for vacuum leaks
Clean the ISC/IAC
Clean the EGR valve
Check ignition components
Check fuel components
Check compression

Thanks for your input, I had already started down the troubleshooting path before choosing the cover-up approach...
new exhaust pipe flex joint leaking
new dogbone
new front motor mount
cleaned throttle body and IAC (is IAC and ISC the same thing?)
no obvious vacuum leaks
I haven't figured out how to get the bottom pipe off the EGR so I can remove and clean it--can't get a wrench on it.
