I have a 96' tahoe With a bad catalytic converter. I know this because of the "rotten egg" smell. My engine light has been on for a while an just recently started to blink, signaling an engine misfire. CAN A BAD CATALYTIC CONERTER CAUSE AN ENGINE TO MISFIRE?

ANY ADVISE IS GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANKS

I'm not sure, but I wouldnt think a bad catalytic converter would cause the engine to misfire. The misfire is probably what caused your cats to go bad in the firstplace.
