94 S10 4.3L 2wd starter replacement

I have an s10 per the subject discription. How do I replace the starter, without lifting the engine? I could not pull it by just unbolting and rotating/forcing it's way out. Any suggestions welcome.

Remove the flywheel inspection plate, and it'll come right out
