Can someone tell me why my gti 2003 with only 21k miles jerk when shifting gears. first gear is not that bad. second gear is the worse. it goes up all the way to fifth gear, after that it drives smooth. this is automatic teptronic transmission. thanks. anyone?

Could it be an engine misfire?

If you drive your car hard than the transmission control module will learn that you like fast hard shifts and It will shift like that. The triptronic transmissions normally shift harder also.
