93 LeSabre ; Couple of questions

Just bought a 1993 LeSabre very clean.

The power door locks no worky. Can this be as easy as a fuse?

Also, is there a certain way or trick to changing the rear license plate??
I don't want to tear anything up, and I did find the slit in the back after
opening the trunk.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, not to sure why you can't change your plate. they are usually held on with two bolts. As for your door locks. It can be a fuse, but if it isn't ......I have a 92 Lesabre. I've had itermitent electrical problems for sometime. Then the doorlocks stopped working. If you look under the carpet, just under the parking brake you will find a flat metal junction block inside a black plastic cover. It has 5-6 wire going to it. This is ground central for some options. It gets wet and rusty and the door locks loose the ground. Carefully remove the wires and metal bar. Clean everything and put it together. A light coat of oil will prevent further rusting. It's a stupid way to ground electrical stuff but that's what they did. You might have to move some insulation to find it. just follow the wires you find there. The thing is under the carpet close to the kick panel. Good luck
