working bagskykustoms 08-19-2005, 01:50 AM i been working on bags that work for a couple days and heres what i got so far they lift but i need smaller tubes and i nead an air supply this is just me blowing in the tube lol heres a video clip http://s38.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=10HKPWHXHGWSJ3OWFV0A972L4N flyonthewall 08-19-2005, 06:15 AM Interesting. I reckon you need something similar to those bulbous rubber things you get on those blood pressure guages they put on your arm, as your air supply. If its possible, a better approach might be to have the tube going underneath the model, perhaps through a base of some kind, to keep it out of sight. honda_racing101 08-19-2005, 10:59 AM Thats pretty damn cool. eph2 08-19-2005, 12:44 PM Woww.. I love this idea!!! I want to build some thing without a extern compressor. kykustoms 08-19-2005, 02:39 PM thsnkd for the compliments. yea i want to have the tube hiden better but the tube i used doesnt bend very easy and its too big so im lookin for something smaller and flexible.the blood presure thing sounds like a good idea but would be a little pricey lol i was thinking one of those blue baby ear wax things and maby even a fish tank air supply pump calvin3 08-21-2005, 05:43 PM hmmmmmm....nice. Ideas start flowing. kykustoms 08-21-2005, 11:03 PM yea this has consumed me for the past few days and im working on a chassis with independant suspension all the way around heres some pics of it so far http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b142/kykustoms/toyota/toyframe.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b142/kykustoms/toyota/toyframe2.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b142/kykustoms/toyota/toyframe3.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b142/kykustoms/toyota/toyframe4.jpg aN4rK1 08-21-2005, 11:28 PM http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b142/kykustoms/toyota/toyframe3.jpg :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: WOW ive never ever seen that on a model, man that is crazy. I hope you do a tut or somthing. I really want to try this. vanilla gorilla 08-22-2005, 12:32 AM looks crazy. keep it up! kykustoms 08-22-2005, 10:43 PM sorru i dont have a tutorial but its just a arms like on the front of most cars it takes alot of work to do and a tutorial would be alot of work to lol just getting the arms mounted to the wheels in the right place took a while i might try a tut someday but it probably wont be for a while sorry kykustoms 08-22-2005, 11:01 PM i can tell u the way i do the a arms is easy to do 1 but getting them to match is the hard part.i made a triangle out of wire with the base cut almost all the way off but left enouph to stick into a tube withc acts like a hinge.i put styrene tubes over the wire so i could put a mounting point for the bags that i am going to put on it. getting the a arms mounted on a spindle in the right place is a hrd part because if its not in the right place it will have too much neg. or pos. camber when raised and/or lowered. i worked on this frame and suspension for 4 days so it takes a while lol vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
