I am interested in removing the stock radio out of my 2002 hyundai accent and replacing it with a Pioneer DEH-P460MP. Could anyone please provide me with any information that could be helpful in the removal of the stock cd player or perhaps the installation of the Pioneer.

I've heard that www.crutchfield.com (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-rlvlPx2mtuj/) has installation instructions for specific models including the current generation Elantra.

Or, get a logon with www.hmaservice.com, Hyundai's web site for technical data (you can actually see the real shop manuals the mechanics use and they are easy to understand). When I registered, it said it would send a password via email, but it never came. I went back to the site and clicked the Forgot Password link and it came after that. If you're doing any work on your Hyundai, having this information is great.

Welcome to the forum,

Yeah Webtech is very helpful. They have the shop and electrical manuals online. It surely has helped me in the past.
Just make sure you keep the password they send you in a safe place, cause its not easy to remember.

They don't let you pick your own password, or as far as I can tell, change the password they send you, I've noticed

Which is why I said to keep it in a safe place where you can go back to it, cause its not easy to remember. They claim that it will change in the future and you can shoose your own as well as add stuff to your profile, but I do not see that happening anytime soon.
