Has anyone had problems with the engine seizing after driving in the rain. The dealer found water in #1 cylinder, the air filter soaked and assumed the car was driven in deep water but it was not. Chrysler will not pay under warranty.

Really??, was it a puddle or a small creek you were crossing. The above post is true, but give us more info. Is it possible someone extended your air intake? It should be about half way down between your engine and the ground. If you drove through a bad storm, possibly, your insurance will pay for it. Why they do not re route the air intake pipe has always been beyound to me placing it closer to the top of your hood facing down. Take out your plugs and squirt each piston with diesel fuel or a comparable lubricate and let it sit for a few days. Then turn your motor over abit, Note start, but immmediately drain all oil, clean your plugs, change oil wit a can of STP and prey. If by chance it runs, all the best. I really wish you the best.Wayne
