cb radioterror x 08-16-2005, 03:52 PM I dont see this topic discussed much. What cbs do you guys run and what are your opinions on them? Schludwiller 08-16-2005, 08:00 PM Cobra 75 WXST. http://img.shopper.howstuffworks.com/cctool/PrdImg/images/pr/177X150/00/01/46/6f/83/21393283.JPG I like it. I've had it for 3-4 years now. The best part is that the radio is in the handset and doesn't take up much room, plus it's quickly removable. A lot of people in our club use them, and they seem pretty reliable. Just make sure you don't buy a "refurbished" one as Cobra often doesn't even repair them before shipping them out again. A new one is only $2 more or so. www.alifenterprises.com has good prices and is a small independent shop. Oh, and a 3' Firestick No-Ground antenna is mounted to my ARB. It makes a good clearance indicator for my roof rack when going into short parking garages. :D acedude4 10-05-2005, 12:15 AM yea...Cobra ones get the job done well USMC XTERRA 11-04-2005, 03:36 PM Ok, I think I llike this radio also, and they have them at the truckstops for like $109 plus it has soundtracker and the 10 weather radio bands. So I am sold on thios Idea, but anyone know wher ethe heck I can put a CB ant that will clear the garrage door? I saw one on the site that went in same pan as wiper assembly, but it don't look like it will work on a 2005. Anyone have any luck on a 2005 CB ant location? And is the computer still an issue? Where is it at on 2005? MC vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
