Just thought you might like to know that in October Revell are releasing two new Ferrari models the 288GTO and the F430.

Thank god, I can finally have a model of a classic Ferrari without paying $50 for it at the store... Revell really needs to do more european cars

Hi,

watch out, it is Revell Germany.
I have no infos ablout the kit, but (I can imagine that) the GT0 might be a reissue of the Italeri kit.

I guess the English language is lost forever

The 288 GTO is a reissue of the old Italeri kit. Not bad, a LOT easier to build than the Fujimi enthusiast kit...but the Fujimi kit will look better when finished properly.

I hope the F430 is a new tool, the Revell AG Modena sucked pretty bad in comparison w/the Tamiya kits and pretty much any other modern kits. If it's new it should be up to the level of the 612 and that's fine by me.

Cool, new Ferrari kits! And they're revell, so they'll most likely not be expensive at all! Whoohoo! :pimp:

Wait,.....Revell AG and Revell USA?

They're on Revell AG's site. Revell USA won't be announcing anything new until probably the October hobby show. Perhaps then we'll hear when/if Revell USA will be packaging/selling the newest Ferraris for US consumption.

To whomever asked about the 288 GTO, it's full detail. I built it years ago (maybe as long as 20 years ago) when it was first issued. The only modification I made was to lower it a bit in the front end.
