I was just wondering if anyone knew the 1/4 mile and 0-60 times for a 99 cavalier Z24. Oh, and also the HP and Torque it has.

Thanks

The 99 Z24 had a 2.4L 4 cylinder which produced 150HP @ 5600 RPM and 155 ft-lbs of Torque @ 4400 RPM. It has a max engine speed of 6500 RPM. It comes with a curb weight of 2617 lbs. stock. No clue about the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times on a stock 1999 Z24, but currious to find out myself.

I just posed this on another post....

A pre 95 Z24 will typically run stock, between 16.0 and 16.2
A post 95 Z24 will typically run stock, between 15.8-16.0
And the 2000+Z24's with no EGR and 10+tq run typically .2 faster than the post 95

With Intake, Header, Catback, a post95 Z24 can run in the mid to low 15's with a good driver.

I love racing si's and GSR's, its all about skill! If i dont launch good im toast because i will get eaten alive after 70mph! Seriouly though, i have had some very close and fair races between vtec honds and accuras, fun races.
