when driving the car the oil light comes on / chimes ring. hit the brakes and oil light goes off and chimes stop. please help. thank you. i thought it might be the oil pump but i would think the light and chimes would stay on all the time.

Just had one doing the same thing and replaced the oil pressure switch and now is fine.
