Mabe even make you one with a divorced DP section for an open dump wastegate :P drftk1d 08-20-2005, 07:08 PM honestly i would go custom if i were you. maybe call up FDTT if his work is good. FDTT 08-20-2005, 09:16 PM I have a pre-fabbed 3.25" turbo back setup if your intrested. Driver side exit, has test pipe for emmissions reasons, a sepret pre-muffler section, and then a 3.25"inlet and 3.25" outlet single canister exhaust. With the pre-muffler in there is has a very nice tone to it. Buw with the pre-muff out its full on race sounding, even get those flames that everyone is so hard on for. :P O its full titanium to, as it is for a customers race car, but decided he did not want the unit. badassfocus1101 08-20-2005, 10:31 PM and what would be the price on that one...haha im not a millionaire. but i want dual i think... might juss go with single... but dual would look cool and i think it might sound a lil meaner too.. but i juss want it to sound like this....
Click to see Video MINUS THE PLUT PLUT SHIT.lol but i like the sound of it like that.... FDTT 08-21-2005, 01:45 AM well the "brap brap brap brap" in that cideo ( i didnt view it but im sure ive seen it) woudl be due to some extensive portwork. That car is probably bridgeported, but i cant say for sure. And you will get tht same effect to some extent as a rotory is very similar to a two cycle engine. "BRAP BRAP BRAP BRAP"=power :D badassfocus1101 08-21-2005, 01:07 PM yea i wasnt sure but i kinda figured it had sumthin to do with showin a good amount of power in the engine, u can tell alot of things bout an engine juss by the exhaust. but answer me this... what would u charge to make me an exhaust system... i want dual, 2 lil euro mufflers (fart cans) and prolly like a new precat... thats it, juuss precat back no more cats or mufflers juss precat-pipe-2 fartcans oh and whats the price on that system u got? that titanium one FDTT 08-21-2005, 03:48 PM the ti one is arond $1300 CDN, if its not sold by this comming friday its going on my TII. To make a dual system, similar to the racing beat system id charge around $450-500, depending on the pipeing you woudl want to use and the actual mufflers. It all depends on the material you want to use. I only charge for the materials+1.5hrs labour. badassfocus1101 08-21-2005, 09:00 PM is that like cat back? or entire deal...turbo back caz im thinkin its gonna be better in the long run to juss do ALL new exhaust...turbo back. ima look to find a muffler i like. and ill send you a link to it... and would prices be nagotionable? FDTT 08-22-2005, 04:59 AM Well the price is all dependant on what you want to do. What piping you choose, what cat you want, what muffler you want, if you want a pre-muffler, number of flanges. I charge cost for those, so im not making money for that. And i charge 1.5hrs labour to make the unit (unless it is something that is a PITA then i charge straight time). So as for my labour being negotiable, no. But the cost of all the peices you want to use is. The unit coudl cost you $200 for the hole thing, or it could cost you $2000, all depends on what you want to use. PS the full Ti system cost about $1500 in materials alone :P drftk1d 08-23-2005, 09:12 AM 3.25" too much for a near stock car right (stock turbo, ecu) FDTT 08-23-2005, 04:14 PM not really, the back pressure needed is held in by the turbo, so 3.25" wont do anything much different than 3inch.
