92 Mighty Max won't startFD5 08-13-2005, 02:49 PM Won't turn over, there is a clicking noise coming from the passenger side floorboard kickplate area. Any ideas?? mikelly7 10-22-2005, 06:10 PM I am having the same problem. According to the Haynes manual, the battery terminals could be loose or need cleaned. The battery may be drained or faulty. Next is says to make sure you are in park or neutral. Then inspect wires on starter circuit including solenoid and ignition switch. The last item says that engine could be seized. I tried the battery terminals without success, but I am not a mechanic so I am not sure what to try next. Good luck - let me know if you get any results FD5 10-23-2005, 10:56 AM Cleaned terminals on battery, checked all wire connections, still nothing. Turns out it was the starter, 39.95 at autozone for lifetime warranty starter, truck running fine now. mikelly7 12-05-2005, 09:30 PM Starter for me also. Thanks. Soory for the late reply. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
