Work in progress: Nissan 350zZlaja_ 08-12-2005, 06:47 PM I started this project some time ago and this is my first model this year :disappoin and the third model through my carreer as a modeler :smokin: It's a stock 350z except the rearview mirrors (i lost the original ones :banghead: ) I've had some trouble with the bodywork on this one but it is coming together, as soon as i get my fricken order from hlj containing my primer (my LHS is retarded, he doesnt supply primer; he says: cant you use matte white as primer? :icon16: ) So far i have finished the interior and the wheelbase in lack of words to describe it. here are some pics, ill show the body as soon as the primer arrives and i have primed it http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/217070P1010139-med.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/217070P1010140-med.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/217070P1010146-med.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/217070P1010147-med.jpg Tan/brown two-tone interior, that airbrush i bought was really a good investment :) enjoy MidMazar 08-12-2005, 09:12 PM Interior looks pretty nice and clean, except that color doesn't really go with a z. But then again i don't know what color ur painting it. Keep us posted. redstang423 08-12-2005, 11:11 PM that darker color looks like a pretty good match of the burnt orange leather that is currently available with the roadster (and i believe used to be available on the coupe). i don't remember tan ever being an option for interior color, but who cares? the paint scheme you chose came out really nice and i think it will look really sharp with the body being black or maybe even lemans sunset (or as close to that color as you can get). eph2 08-13-2005, 01:22 PM Nice work on interior!!! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
