Stero/lift questions would love some help! 1989 S10 Blazers10_blzer 08-12-2005, 12:22 AM First off when I turn my stero up not very loud at all the door speakers start turning off and on why my 10' sub stays on....was wondering what possibly was causeing this and how to fix it. And when it comes to the lift I am looking at a 3inch roughcountry body lift and was wondering what size of tires I could fit onto it. Thanks alot for any and all replies Rmbodie 08-12-2005, 06:32 AM Your speakers may have too low resistance causing the internal amp to over heat and cut out while pre amp outputs that may be feeding a sub amp will still work because they are "pre amp". Next point, I have an 89 model too . I have a 3" body lift and a 2 " suspension lift , and get a little rub with 31x10.50x15 tires . but the rub is on the anti-sway bars and only when turned to full lock both ways . I could have fit 32x9.50x15 but I did not want to lose the extra power. s10_blzer 08-12-2005, 04:06 PM Well when I bought the rig the stero worked perfectly and never had this problem.....could blown speakers, a short in wires, or anything else cause this? Because just recently one of my 4 door speakers gave out and I'm getting ready to replace....and also a buddy told me that it could just be a short in the wires. But thanks for your help and if you know a good internet site that has wide tires and rims avaible will you please post because I would like to browse my options other than the local les schwab, well thanks for the reply it helps :} BlazerLT 08-12-2005, 07:07 PM Are you running a stock deack with aftermarket speakers? s10_blzer 08-12-2005, 07:13 PM nope I'm running a aftermarket sony deck with aftermarket speakers BlazerLT 08-12-2005, 07:40 PM Something is wrong with your deck. s10_blzer 08-12-2005, 07:54 PM Ok thanks for the help Officer Redneck 08-13-2005, 07:41 AM I'm not trying to take over your thread or anything but I was about to ask the same question.
