Hey everybody....!
I been putting all kind of shit together for my "home-made turbo kit" for the last month. I have everything I need (exept oil lines) to complete the project, but some crazy things are popping out of no where. Here a list of my problem and I hope you guyz can help me on this one..:

1. The turbo is out of a sabb 900, and it looks that no matter how I try to put it on the minifold the oil return line always ends up on top, and the feed line is at the bottom. what can I do whit that?
2. I got the turbo and I did not know to what psi the weastegate was set at.. I heard those are set at 11 psi, is that thrue?
3.last but least, does anybody know a "how-to" about turbo install on a civic with a LS in it? I mean a complete step by step stuff.

here is the turbo:

and here are some of the guides for how to install a turbo kit, please, if you have anything diffrent pls post it:

for the oil drain/feed you need to clock the center section. this can be done but only rotating the exhaust housing or by rotating both the compressor and exhaust housings. it depends on how much room you have and how you want to route your charge pipes. just be gentle when you remove the housings you don't want to damage the blades. when your done make sure the oil drain is facing as straight down as possible. you want to ensure the best possible drain for it.

your turbo and wastegate setting:
Garrett T3 42/48 set at - 8psi

those links above dont provide a step by step, but, the turbo install is pretty much covered in all those links if you read em. it should give you the idea of what to do already, if you understood em.

Thanks everyone, I'll work on the oil feed/return by clocking the center piece. Now that I know the psi my wastegate is set at, I just gonna run 6 or 7 psi until I buy a external one or change my turbo set up.
Thanks for the help!

sorry, but I had to ask this...
I have all the basics bolt-ons (headers, cat convertor, fuel pressure regulator, XS intake manifold, High flow fuel rail and some others) on my 94 LS motor, and I'm planning to run 6 or 7 psi of boost. How fast do you think Ill be? just drop a number or just what you think is an estimated...
Remember, is on a 94 civic hatch.

Thanks!

ok a couple things. you cannot run a lower amount of boost than the internal wastegate is set at. you have to either adjust the wastegate(if its adjustable, some internals are, some are not) or swap for another internal wastegater, or convert to an external gate. if you plan on running an external eventually just leave the stock internal gate at 8psi and you'll be fine.

secondly, you do know that when you install the turbo you have to toss away your aftermarket header right?

are you sure you know what your doing? it sounds like you need to sit down and take some time to read up on turbo's and how they work.

if you want some pictures to look at, i just finished my hmt setup on my civic. i've got pictures of parts and the installation here:

don't rush te install, just take your time. you want to do it right only once, cuz having to pull it all off again is a pain in the butt ya know
